It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Curtis Gandy Jr. in Levelland, Texas, born in Morton, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Gandy (Sullivan) and J. C. Gandy; his sisters, Sandra Gandy and Linda Gandy; and his siblings-in-law, Max, Ruth Demel and Myles Demel.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Gandy; his children, Samuel Gandy of Levelland, Texas, Benjamin Gandy (Shannon Gandy) of Weston, Colorado and Katherine Gandy (Ray Hubbard); and his granddaughter Ember Gandy of Weston, Colorado.. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Lubbock or St. Michael Catholic Church in Levelland in his honor.
