He is survived by: his parents, Robert Garza and Laura Villagran; his stepfather Javier Villagran of Leonard; his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Michael Chesson of Galveston; his brother Chris Garza of Galveston; and his stepsiblings, Missy Fields of Blue Ridge and David Fields of Bailey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
