He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burden and Bonnie Mae Burden (Hopper); and his siblings, Paula Jean Johnson, William Henry Burden, Dollie Rae Hall and Alma Ruth Boles.
He is survived by: his son Sean; his close friend George Kalmon; his wife Linda Burden (Darst) of Leonard; his children-in-law, Denise Burden of Denison and Craig; his daughter Christy Flanagan of Leonard; his grandsons, JT Flanagan of Leonard and Koen Burden of Denison; his siblings, Bobby Burden of Little Rock, Mary Jernigan of Goldthwaite and Julia Shaw of Honey Grove; his brother-in-law Blanton; his sister Martha Hancock of Leonard; and his nephews, Kirby Burden, Lloyd Burden, Tim Hancock, Cody Hancock, Travis Hancock and Ethan Hancock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
