With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Shaw Newman (Leona, Texas), born in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on May 7, 2019 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Edgar and Ruby Augusta Newman (King); and his siblings, Edgar Lee, Billy Carl, Jackie LaRue, Clyde Edward Newman, Ruby Lorene Simpson and Ida Elizabeth Pharris.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Margaret Newman of Lexington; his children, Rhonda Sue Newman of Kyle and James Craig Newman (Jeanette Flournoy) of Kyle; his grandchildren, Garrett Cade Jackson (Julie Gautier-Downes), Aubrey Celeste Milligan (Adrian Rodriguez), Cameron Wyatt Milligan (Kayla), James Jackson Newman and Robert Andrew Newman; his stepgrandchildren, Devin Flournoy and Lincoln Flournoy; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Jackson, Emma Jackson, Lillian Jackson and Ayden Rodriguez.
