With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry W. Hicks of Leesburg, Texas, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hicks and O'Neata Baze Hicks; his wife Elizabeth Hicks (Ann); his son Donald Hicks; and his siblings, O'Neal, Jimmy, Lorene and Martha.
He is survived by: his children, James D. Hicks, Johnnie Hicks, Lonnie Hicks, Julie Thrapp and Christy Cagle; and his siblings, Billy Hicks (Robert Hicks), Charlene Jones and Sue Carr. He is also survived by grandchildren, 27 – great-grandchildren, and seven – great-great-grandchildren.
