He is survived by: his parents, John Siegmund and Eunice Siegmund (Lorenz) of Ledbetter; his brother Scott Siegmund (Emily); his nephew Ryan; his niece Kate of Ledbetter; and his grandmother Gertrude Lorenz of Giddings. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Matthew's family recommends making memorial contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School, the Giddings Athletic Booster Club, or plant a tree in memory of Matthew.
