With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Mercer of Leander, Texas, born in Pollock, Louisiana, who passed away on November 29, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fred Mercer and Lottie Johnson Mercer; his son William "Bill" Mercer, Jr.; and his granddaughter Beth Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Mercer; his daughter Kellye Jeffers; and his grandchildren, Courtney Mercer, Lindsey Murray, Hailey Mercer, Abby Mercer, Bruce Jeffers II, Captain Joseph Jeffers and Kayla Jeffers.

“We were sorry to hear about Elmos death he was a loving giving person i had known him all my life at park ave baptist church growing up there after moving away we kept in touch by mail and calls they came to Madison ave baptist in Covington near Cincinnati i met them at the holiday inn we had supper the next day they came to church gave a piano concert after lunch everyone loved their singing.
