It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Schanafelt (Leander, Texas), who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Jay Schanafelt and Martha Jane Schanafelt (Harris); his children, Robert Darren Schanafelt (Dawn) of Eugene, Oregon and Catherine Diane Ford (Ryan) of Leander, Texas; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Lauren Ford, Clara and Trevor Schanafelt; his brother John Schanafelt (Alicia) of Alabama; and his stepdaughter Chelsea (Hauker Hallsteinsson) of Iceland.
