She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph W. Whitfield and Carol E. Whitfield; and her brother Randy B. Whitfield. She is survived by: her husband Ed Rider; her daughter Jacqueline L. Batterson; her sister Melanie Ledesma (Eddie); her grandchildren, Jevin Batterson and K'Lynn; her niece Cassandra Cockrell; and her nephew Scotty Cockrell. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
