With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marylyn June Combs of Leander, Texas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Schedel; her husband Calvin Combs; her daughter Valerie Combs; and her brother Roger Cejalvo. She is survived by: her children, Lorelei Snell of Rockford, IL, Linda Goodman (Tim) of Toledo, OH, Vera Ordonez of Leander, TX and Calvin Combs, Jr. (Elke) of Nashville, TN; her sisters, Carol Trimble of Chicago, IL, Diana Zaimi of Chicago, IL and Marianne Schul of Redlands, CA; and her sister-in-law Lucy Cejalvo of Redlands, CA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Victory Baptist Church Building Fund, as she was a member for close to 20 years.
