He is survived by: his children, John Scott (Lorena Monda) of New Mexico, Nancy Scott-Biggs (Harry) of Leander and Pat Bahlmann (Daryl) of Cedar Park; his siblings, Betty Oliver of Abilene and Tommy Scott (Becky) of Pearland; his nieces and nephews, Kathy Maida (Wally), Linda Peters (Mike), Diane Simon, Cris Scott (Sherly), Tonya Patton (Randy), Scott Oliver (Kathy), Cynthia Gay (Vern), Tamara Hamptom (Fred), Keith Stewart (Christy) and Leta Gray (Doug); and his grandchildren, Lisa Monda, Isabell Biggs, Kenneth Biggs and Dean Bahlmann.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Scotty Scott may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund or the Lottie Moon Mission Fund.
