It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Mendez Vasquez of Leander, Texas, born in Jonah, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Vasquez and Socorro Vasquez (Mendez); his granddaughter Jade Vasquez; and his brothers, Domingo Vasquez, Ralph Vasquez and John Vasquez.
He is survived by: his friend Constancio; his children, Anjanette Vasquez of Round Rock, Jesse Vasquez (Cynthia) of Georgetown, Gilbert Vasquez (Rebecca) of Fort Worth, Miguel Vasquez (Jessica) of Bryan, Stacy Adam Vasquez of College Station and Christopher (Min Vasquez) of Austin; and his siblings, Virginia Mireles, Mary Ann (Manny Nunez), Alfonso "Poncho" Vasquez and Manuel Vasquez Jr.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
