She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Windsor and Erma Althea Atherton; and her sister Dawn Marie Flynn. She is survived by: her friends, Faith Pressler of Little Ferry and Connie Cerchione of Idaho Falls, Idaho.; her brother David Atherton of Palmer; her daughter Lisa Lynn Hess; and her grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Werner and Michael Carlson Werner.
As an adult, she became even more accomplished as an astounding seamstress, making quilts, dolls, and clothes which she often donated to charity to support her community.
