He is survived by: his wife Donna Carter of Leakey; his daughters, Alicia Scott (Shane) of Texas City, Cassie Whiteaker (Johnney) of Pleasanton and Sydney Carter of San Marcos; his grandchildren, Elijah Scott, Jeremiah Scott, Mariah Scott, Dahlylah Scott, Jacob Whiteaker and Noah Whiteaker; and his siblings, Ronald Hagler, Donald Hagler, Clifford Carter, Douglas Carter, Brenda Ayers and Barbara Malley.
