He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Fullenbach Vetrano and Salvatore Theodore Vetrano; his siblings, Pauline Ciriello and William Vetrano; his granddaughter Terasa Scarbrough Minice; his mother-in-law Alice Hegwer; and his sister-in-law Andra Smith.

He is survived by: his former wife Alice Ridgeway; his wife Winnie Mae Hegwer; his children, Becky Scarbrough (Tom) of Peoria, AZ and Jeff Vetrano (Ann) of Gilbert, AZ; his adoptive daughter Keleigh Linebrink (Sean) of Frisco, TX; his sisters, Gloria Schroeder of West Hebron, NY and Dolores Holler of Ohio; his grandchildren, Jennifer Vetrano, Jason Vetrano (Jessica), Jeremy Vetrano (Tessa) and Daniel Scarbrough; and his brother-in-law Allen Hegwer. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
