He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Barrows of Rocksprings; his children, Robert Michael Koonce (Terri) of Portland, TX, Melissa Jean Gates (Scott) of Georgetown, TX and Chester Mark Koonce of Portland, TX; and his grandchildren, Megan Gates Felderhoff, Katie Gates, Robert Michael Koonce, Jr. and Zakary Allen Koonce.
