He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Murdock and Naomi Dossey Watson; his son John Davis Watson; and his brother James "Tub" Watson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Watson of Leakey; his children, Monica Marler (Jason) of College Station, Christi Salas (Bono) of Iowa Colony and Bubba Watson (Stephanie) of Rio Frio; and his siblings, Wayne Watson and Frances Kyle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
