It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wes Kirkland of League City, Texas, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Herbert W. Kirkland; and his brother Bruce M. Hewston, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Karen Engleman (Chris) of Aiken, SC; his grandmother Marie Rhoden of Aiken, SC; his sister Marsha Cameron (Brandon) of North Augusta, SC; his nephew Nathan Frommer; his niece Peyton Cameron; his aunt Tracy Medlin (Chris) of Aiken, SC; his uncle Greg Rhoden of Aiken, SC; and his cousins, Kristie Harley, Courtney Stallings and Abbi Medlin. He is also survived by his family, work, and friends.
