He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Murray Yarbrough II and Sarah Orman Yarbrough of Decatur; and his brother Charles Kent Yarbrough of Cumming, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Nelson of Newport, Tennessee; his children, Sara Kurlansik (Stuart) of Philadelphia, Walter Murray Yarbrough IV (Janet) of Houston, David Yarbrough (Rene) of Youngsville, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Simon (Jack) of League City and Andrew Yarbrough (Wendy) of Dothan, Alabama; his daughter-in-law Terry Yarbrough of Cumming, Georgia; and his sister Avlona Yarbrough Taylor (Douglas) of Boulder, Colorado. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
