He was predeceased by: his parents, Stahl Archibald Whitten II and Cecilia Whitten; his wife Sandra Whitten; and his brother John Whitten. He is survived by: his children, Joy Talley (Gary), Kimberly Alexander (Eric), April Spain (Phillip) and Bruce Whitten (Rocel); his siblings, Marsha Eavenson, Peggy Guillie and Robert Whitten; his grandchildren, Justin Talley, Melisa Gunn, Russell Whitten, Cody Alexander and Audrey Spain; and his great grandchildren, Trevor Guerrero, Bradyn Gunn, Isabella Whitten and Anthony Talley. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
