He was predeceased by: his son Dana Powell; and his parents, Grady Powell and Laura Moore Powell. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sharp Powell; his daughter Rhonda Pitts; his grandchildren, Wade Jenkins (Leilah), Daniel Krampota (Marcy), Richard Grady Krampota, Briana Bevins and Mary Elizabeth Krampota; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Samuel, Ruben, Miriel, Layla, Faith, Jacob, Raymond, Sydney and Rosalie.
