She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Schott and Evelyn Schott; her son David Warner Matchette; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Matchette, Patricia Kinder, Geraldine O'Bryant, Don Harter, Dale Harter and Burry Harter.

She is survived by: her husband Sidney Matchette (Sid); her sister Jane Hamilton of Mishawaka; her daughters, Paula Laskowski (Ken) of South Bend and Kathryn Douglass (Eric) of Tucson, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Aaron, Lacey, Joshua, Jessica, Jared and Jonathan; and her great grandchildren, Alayna, Ella, Aiden, Landon and Adalea.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the food pantry at Lighthouse Fellowship of Friends Church (925 3rd Street, League City, Texas).
