He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Schulte; his parents, Robert Schulte and Mary Schulte; his son Tom; and his brother Robert.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Patricia Holmes; and his grandchildren, Beth Harrison (Charlie) of Charleston, Deborah Martinez (John) of Pearland, Trish Croteau (Mike) of Ottawa and Tom Holmes (Robin) of Alvin. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
