Mary Frances Symmank Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 93, Mary Frances Symmank of League City, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Anthony Goodson and Bertha Lee Goodson (Cottrell); her husband Ben Symmank, Jr.; her daughter Mary Lynn; her siblings, John, Charles "Ike", Joe Goodson, Brenda Goodson and Mary (Ben); her in-laws, Pete Flynn and Bill Shaw; her nephew Michael Flynn; and her great grandchild Callan James Symmank.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Kathy) and Bob (Becky); her sister Verna Shaw; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Carl Modesette), Rebecca (Matt Koshy), Joseph (Mandy Niscavits), Ben (Crystin Niscavits), John (Lauren Niscavits), Matt (Genesis Symmank) and Eric (Meredith Symmank); and her great grandchildren, Cory, Alex Modesette, Cru, Alister, Jadwin, Merrick, Logan, Josie, Beck Niscavits, Ben, Tatum, Martin and John Symmank.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Waltrip Funeral Directors (1415 Campbell Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (1515 Hillendahl Blvd, Houston, TX 77055).
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to: St. Mark Lutheran School, KHCB Radio, The Lutheran Hour or Mission Central LCMS.
