It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Marilyn (McKenzie) Warner (League City, Texas), born in Varnado, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgie Inez (Williams) and Clyde Arlis Warner; her children, Leslie Smith (Donald), Jerri Ellen Yancey (Weldon), Prentis Laird (Elizabeth) and Christie Cottington (Jeff); her grandchildren, April Lorance (Eddie), Dustin Smith (Katrina), Courtney Evans, Miranda Yancey (Gene), Shane Evans (Jessica), Caitlyn Suttle, Tyler Suttle (Nikki), Kyle Suttle, Michael Laird (Danielle), Kathryn Laird and Kelsey Overstreet (Mikey); and her brothers, Kenneth Warner of Folsom, LA and Royce Warner (Marika) of Hattiesburg, MS..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
