He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee Martin and Juanita Blackman; and his siblings, Jesse Blackman and Sherry Lewis (Shauna Turner). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Blackman; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Stefan Ehrhardt; his son Larry Van Blackman Jr. (Jake Blackman); his stepdaughter Dedde DeMartinos; his granddaughter Paige (Josh Adams); his brother Wayne Blackman (Birdie Blackman); and his sisters-in-law, Judith Bradley and Nancy Blackman. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and extended family.
His most favorite foundation was, The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
