She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Hayden Neill; and her parents, Hessie Kilamb Parker and Bertie Mildred Baxter Jones. She is survived by: her siblings, Marion Parker and Lois Yawman; her children, Brenda Guy (Jack) and Howard Wesley Neill (Valarie); her grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Wesley and Parker Jane; her great grandchildren, Keegan, Trey of Ashley, J. T., Josh, Harrison, Lucy, Violet, Mary Grace, Reb, Jordana, Thomas Jonathan, Elijah and Susanna Joy; her great great grandchild Mackenzie Jo-Lynn; and her close friend Julie Fowler.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Clayton Funeral Home (201 S 3rd St, La Porte, TX 77571). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Woods Cemetery (383 Co Rd 425, Tenaha, TX 75974).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Lanell's honor to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 701 San Jacinto St., La Porte, Texas 77571.
