He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Tucker Banta; and his children, Misty Lynn Perkins (Matt), Christy Michelle Slay (David), Shana Waltrip (Jason) and Michael Joe Sutton. He is also survived by his friends and family, and as Papa to his grandchildren.
