He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ormand Lorentz and Dorothy Ann Moran Lorentz; his wife Joye Greene Lorentz; his daughters, Dr. Rebecca Lorentz (Michelle), Estrange of Mount Pleasant and Martha Lawlar (Jeffrey) of Dickinson; his siblings, Chris Slovacek (John) of Conroe, Greg Lorentz (Debby) and Timothy Lorentz (Susan) of Ooltewah; and his stepdaughters, Leigh Thompson (Barry) of Willis and Lyn Reynolds of Humble. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
