It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hugh Patrick McLaughlin of League City, Texas, born in Carneys Point, New Jersey, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben McLaughlin and Mary McLaughlin; and his siblings, John, Benny McLaughlin, Cissie McKie and Shirley Haines.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Costello McLaughlin; his children, Hugh McLaughlin Jr. (Diane), Frank McLaughlin and Robin Stanaland (Eddie); his grandchildren, Shannon McLaughlin, Hugh McLaughlin III, Bridget McLaughlin, Frank McLaughlin Jr., Lauren Kelly (Sean) and Kacey Conway (Justin); his great grandchildren, Colton Kelly and Carter Kelly; his sister Mary Jane Hudock; his sister-in-law Rowe Wyshinski (Paul); and his nephews, Randy and Dominic Wyshinski.
