It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester Y Canady (League City, Texas), born in Los Fresnos, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Ester; her husband R. B. Canady; her parents, Simon Ybarra and Manuela Ybarra; her siblings, Maria Castillo, Josephine Yoakum, Jesusa Sanchez, Elpidio Ybarra, Juan Ybarra and Trini Ybarra; and her children, Raul De Los Santos (Bernie De Los), Connie Henson, Ruby Treviño, Emmitt Canady and Geneva Murphy. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
