With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra (Debbie) Ann Simons of League City, Texas, born in Slaton, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. J. Hlavaty and Nell Hlavaty; her husband Steve Simons; her brother Tom; and her sister-in-law Pam Hlavaty.
She is survived by: her brothers, Danny Hlavaty (Monika) of Ransom Canyon, Texas, Doug Hlavaty (Valerie) of Woodrow, Texas and Lance Hlavaty (Barbara) of Lubbock, Texas.; her sons, Corey Newsom (Barbara) of Willis, Texas, Scott Newsom (Annette) of League City, Texas, Everett Simons (Colleen) of Kingwood, Texas, Gabe Simons (Pam Vandiver) of Houston, Texas and Levi Simons of Houston, Texas; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Hannah, Caleb, Chloe, Jacob and Andrew. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
