He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merton Lewis Jessel and Ella May Gibson Jessel; his former spouse Laverne Gwen Mewis; his children, Erica May and Lauren Isabella of Friendswood, Texas; his wife Zulai Aidakeeva Jessel of Friendswood, Texas; his children, Heather Jessel Carlquist (Chad) of Allen, Chad Jessel (Sarah Copeland) of Webster and Brock Jessel (Rochelle) of Katy; his grandchildren, Dylan, Ashley Carlquist, Stone, Aiden and Grant Jessel; and his stepmother Bobbie Jessel of Wichita Falls, Texas.. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, three sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
