He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Yeats and Winnell Yeats; and his son Gregory Brett Yeats. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Yeats of Bay City; his children, David (GiGi), Jimmy (Kelli) and Michelle Yeats Ewing; his grandchildren, Garret Yeats (Meloni), William Ewing, Jeannette Garcia (Victor), Theresa Rovinsky (Alex), Mary Avanti, Nicholas Dugger, Kourtney Donaldson (Justin) and Dylan Yeats; and his great grandchildren, Riley Garcia, Lily Garcia, Thomas Reedy, Eloise Rovinksy, Guenevere Rovinsky, Isabelle Avanti, Ezekiel Avanti and Daniel Donaldson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
