He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Britton and Carole Jackson (Dowdle); and his brother Hank Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Christian Kopeck of League City, Britton Edward Jackson of League City, Holly Kelly (Paul) of League City, Haley Berg (Brian) of League City and Katherine Danielle Jackson of El Paso; his brother Stephen Jackson of Houston; and his grandchildren, Ricky Herod, Skylar DeCarlis, Hannah Berg, Kailin Berg, Penelope Berg, Hudson Berg and Kinzley Kopeck.
Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Daniel's name to the Galveston Naval Museum, 100 Seawolf Parkway, Galveston, Texas 77554.
