He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Jones and Beatrice Jones; his spouse Flo; his former wife Florence; his siblings, Joyce Spencer and Boyd Lee Jones; his children, Douglas Jones (Jason), Ronald Moncrief (Charlotte), Richard Moncrief and Margaret Cooper (Pat); and his granddaughters, Pamela Moncrief, Tammie Schultz and Theresa Hood.

“Boyce was one of the finest men we have ever known. He and his family were our neighbors on Silverpines for awhile. When he saw Sally at church he always asked how Frank and Mark (our son) were. Boyce gave freely of his time and talents to our church and was always willing to help in any way. He will be dearly missed.”
