It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty June Mitchell of League City, Texas, born in Leon Junction, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank and Ella Harvie Chamblee (Cooper). She is survived by: her spouse T. E. "Red" Mitchell; her son Rickey Mitchell, Sr. (Cherrie) of League City; her grandsons, Rickey Mitchell, Jr. (Niki) of Crawford and Nathan Alan Mitchell (Lindsay) of League City; her great grandchildren, Jacob Mitchell of Valley Mills, Camden, Keenan Mitchell of League City and Kendall Buckalew of Crawford; and her brother Jack Chamblee (Jane) of Crawford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
