He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregoria Hernandez and Benito Hernandez; his daughter Benita Michelle Hernandez; and his sister Rosemary Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Hernandez; his children, Ursula Ann Hernandez, Krystal Marie Hernandez, Benito B. Hernandez, Jr. (Laura) and Jason Jerardo Hernandez (Desiree Swauger); his siblings, Helen Escamilla (Chief), Janie Pound (Steve) and Andrew Hernandez, Sr. (Maria); his brother-in-law Jesse Martinez; his grandchildren, Camelio Herrera, Jamie Pinones, Jaime Pinones, Gigi Pinones, Jade Hernandez, Alyssa Barajaz, Camron Thomas, Carlos Hernandez, Dallas Thomas, Miranda Hernandez, Jasmine Hernandez, Benito Hernandez III, Andrew Hernandez, Andrea Hernandez, Andie Hernandez, Lexis Hernandez, Kayla Hernandez and Zachary Hernandez; and his great grandchildren, Layleah, Eliza, Zavier, Kaylee, Jaxson, Leona, Damian, Adrienne, Gabriella, Michelle, Cece, Walter and Jaden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
