He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Moffett and Esther Moffett (Singleton); his sister Esther Myrle Moffett; and his sister-in-law Maurdine Moffett. He is survived by: his son Samuel Alexander Moffett (Kristin); his siblings, William Lloyd Moffett, Leonard Curry Moffett (Donna), John Wayne Moffett, Lillie Padgett (Russel) of Virginia and Sonja Marie Dawson (Doug); and his grandchildren, Clara Moffett and Greenley Moffett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
