She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Smith (Clark) and Earl Smith; her husband Howard Glen Lowery; and her son-in-law Robert Van Arsdal. She is survived by: her daughters, Shiree Rice of League City, Suzann Van Arsdal of Galveston, Darlene Abshire (Kirwin) of Pearland and Glenda Lowery of Homer; and her grandchildren, Shawn Hodges, Kara Heath, Leah Wood, Jessica Hayslip, Matthew Wood and Monica Hayslip. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
