He was predeceased by: his father Ray Darell; and his brothers, Raymond Pruitt, Rex Pruitt and Ronnie Pruitt. He is survived by: his mother Ramona Jean Holmes Pruitt of Abilene, Texas; his children, Rachel Freeman of Avery, Texas, Phillip Pruitt and Richard Pruitt II; and his siblings, Rita Batchelor of Lawn and Ryan Pruitt of Utah. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
