It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Ray (Brooks) Splann (Lawn, Texas), who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam S. Splann; her daughter Peggy J. Young; her granddaughter Dawn L. Brown Trippett; and her great grandchild Christian Trippett. She is survived by: her son Sammy L. Splann (Connie) of Nacogdoches; her brother Jim Brooks of Corinth; her grandchildren, Pamela Brown, Denise Padgett (Gene) of Moffat, Kristi Blankenship (Glenn) of Alabama and Kyle Splann (Marcie) of Nacogdoches; and her great grandchildren, Bradley Lough, Brandon Trippett, Charlene Atkins, Mistie Erwin, Ryan Weaks, Grady, Allie, Maddie Blankenship, Keelan, Bailey, Meila and Adley Splann. She is also survived by twelve great-great grandchildren.
