He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Hensley and Maybelle Hensley (Parker); and his brothers, Terry and Alton "Wayne". He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Pelton; and his nieces and nephews, Wayne Hensley (Danielle) of Wylie, Eric Monaghen (Tara) of Arkansas, Cassandra Christopher (Mark) of Lavon and Amanda Williams (Daniel) of Lavon. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and many great-nieces and nephews.
