With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fialogo Merrick (Lavon, Texas), who passed away on July 16, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sione and Fiasili; her husband James; her son James; and her siblings, Matthew, Samuelu (Temukisa) and Sylvana.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Merrick (Alisha), Jaison Merrick (Katie), Joshua Merrick (Ashley Ness), John Merrick (Kylee), Faylynn Funaki (Kolo), Fayrina Ah Hoy (Irwin), Andrew Ulberg (Kindra Fuentes) and Tasi Masoe (Tony); and her siblings, Tui, Taioalo (Mina), Pili, Tavita, Pouesi, Marion (Haisini), Aui (Reeny), Paepae (Beatriz), Sione (Jenn), Livalina, Ata, Nena (Mark), Leti, Malo (Ioelu), Afano (Tanuvasa), Kaloni (Petaia) and Perdita (Stone). She is also survived by 36 grandchildren.
She lived her life giving extensive and unrelenting service and charity and has been described as having "lived love without regard to reward.".
