He is survived by: his parents, Bob McCowen and Gloria McCowen; his wife Sharie McCowen; his children, Christie Winkles (Richard), Leslie Smithart (Josh), Jeff Kirn (Audrey), Will VanLeer (Maria) and Michael Johnson (Katherine); his grandchildren, Dylan, Aspen Winkles, Ethan, Eli, Emilee Smithart, Lynzy, Decklyn, Aislyn Kirn, Alma, Eleot VanLeer, Joshua, Gabe and Tevy Johnson; and also, Dean McCowen (Lisa) and Doug McCowen (Suzie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
