He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Franklin; his parents, Jack Franklin and Inez Franklin; and his siblings, Marie Porter and S. M. Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Franklin, Becky Drake (Mark), Larry Franklin (Aaron) and Jack Franklin (Emilie); his grandchildren, Justin (Brandi), Nickie (Jonathan), Tiffiany (Jordan), Eric (Annie) and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Preslee, Shelby, Landon, Camden and Hayden; and his grandson David Hollis. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and close in-laws.
