He was predeceased by: his parents, David Stewart Kern and Ruth Halstead Kern; and his brothers, David H. Kern and Stephen Kern Allan. He is survived by: his wife Debra Brooks Kern of Rockwall, TX; his daughter Christina Ceresini-Baker of Fredericks, MD; his stepchildren, Pamela, Bryan, Mikayla, Savannah Fields of Hope, AR, Coy, Melody and Lauren McKamie of Rockwall, TX; his siblings, Bonnie (John Pressley), Kathy (Bob Murgallis) and Paul Kern of Wheaton, MD; and his stepmother Corrine Kern of Wheaton, MD. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.
