He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Taylor Sowell and Novis Nell Sowell (Steptoe); and his sister Shirley Rae Sowell. He is survived by: his wife Thresa Dianne Sowell; his sons, Matthew Tyler Sowell of Latexo, Joseph Lynn Harris, Ashley Harris of Latexo, Edward Lee Harris and Kaye Rollo of Crocket; and his siblings, Gayle Wimberley Clark (Dennis Clark) of Hubbard, Randal Keith Sowell of Crocket, Joseph Brent Sowell (Kalyn Sowell) of Pflugerville and Brian Jason Mahan of Wylie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many grandchildren.
