With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Shelton of Larue, Texas, born in Texarkana, Arkansas, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Shelton to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her brother Jim Harless (Brenda); her brother-in-law Jack Shelton (Wanda); her children, Ricky (Kaye Shelton), Sherri (Darrell) and Becky (Chris Herzik); her grandchildren, Kali, Ashley Miller, Ann Nelson, Kasey, Tyler Roof, Meghan Shelton, Carrie Shelton, Katie, Mario Deleza and Katelyn DeMars; her great grandchildren, Jasper, Kylie, Marli, Wyatt, Makayla, Hadley, Rossi, Quincey, Olivia, Leyton, Kayden, Nolan and Makenzie; her great great grandchild Elijah; and her grandsons, Brent Miller, Jason Miller, TJ Shelton, Matthew Shelton, Nathan Shelton, Parker Moore and Cody DeMars.
She made over 3, 000 masks for the healthcare community during the pandemic, as well as lap blankets for the elderly.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UT Health Pink Ladies Auxiliary.
