He was predeceased by: his wife Euna B. Cox Starkes; his parents, Isaac Starkes and Loreen Starkes; his siblings, Kenneth Starkes, Billy Wayne Starkes and Laverne Tapley; and his son-in-law Donald Vogt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Vogt and Kathy Clark (Kevin); his granddaughter Meghan Vogt; his siblings, James Starkes (Tri City), Dorothy Tapley (Corsicana) and Barbara Holder (Tri City); his friend Lou Berry; and his grandsons, Joey and Jesse Webb. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
